from 2nd yr Ancient Philosophy & Political Theory 2020 (2)

 I really genuinely enjoyed your class. Last year I was in my first year and had jumped into a philosophy major without ever having studied philosophy before. The class you taught was probably the main reason why I didn’t end up switching majors in my first year. It was the class I would look forward to most every week (even if sometimes I may not have completed all of the assigned readings, oops!). I often look back at your class and it brings a smile to my face. There was even a class last year where I brought one of my coworkers with me and to this day, he still talks about how much he loved being in that one class. 
I guess the reason I’m writing this email is to thank you for showing me how cool philosophy is. I know that you weren’t technically a professor last year, yet somehow you were the best and one of my favourite professors I’ve had thus far.
